Thesis Statement: This project aims to transform urban parking lots into green parks in Liberty Village community, catering to the needs of dog-friendly communities while also considering the urban green living of local residents. AT the heart of the design is the creation of a safe and comfortable space for dogs, featuring off-leash areas, pet grooming, and dog daycare facilities.
Concurrently, through the introduction of abundant vegetation and thoughtful landscape design, the project endeavors to improve the quality of life for both community residents and their pets. By fostering interaction and cohesion within the community, this initiative contributes to the ecological, health, and social sustainability of the urban environment.
The whole interior design takes into account the visual characteristics of dogs, hence we have chosen yellow as the primary color for guiding their movement. In addition, we complement this with black ad the background color, enhancing the brightness and prominence of yellow. This contrast not only enhances aesthetics but also serves as a guiding element in the dog's visual experience, providing them with better navigation and comfort.
